The World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) are scheduled to take place in Perth from the 12th-21st March 2027. WPFG is a large-scale international multi-sport event uniting over 8500 emergency service participants from more than 70 countries. Featuring over 65 sports across team and individual disciplines, the event provides an inclusive platform that accommodates current and retired emergency service participants of diverse skills and abilities. The WPFG celebrates the dedication, professionalism, and camaraderie of personnel from law enforcement, fire services, corrections, paramedics, and broader emergency services. In doing so, it highlights Western Australia as a premier global destination for sport, culture, and community—showcasing the spirit and capability of the emergency services sector on an international stage. The successful delivery of the Games relies on a coordinated workforce of staff, volunteers, and partners all working together to deliver a safe, high-quality, and memorable experience for participants and spectators alike. Volunteering at the Games offers practical experience, skill development, community engagement, and the opportunity to be part of a major international event hosted in Perth. No experience is required (unless applying for a Team Leader role) as all volunteers will receive appropriate training and guidance for their roles. Volunteers will be provided with an official volunteer shirt and a welcome pack.
