Armadale District Surgery is looking for a proactive, reliable and friendly registered nurse to join our team starting ASAP. This role is a full-time role for 5 days per week - no weekend hours. You would be joining our supportive and friendly team of 3 doctors, 2 nurses, 1 psychologist and 3 physiotherapists. About this role: • Willing to work full-time. • Providing care in general practice • Above award pay rates • Treatment room duties including but not limited to: - Immunisations - Wound Care Management - Ear Syringing, ECG, Spirometry and ABIs - Iron Infusion - Preparation of Chronic Disease Management Care Plans and Health Assessments - INR’s and venesections - Recalls, reminders and stock control The successful candidate will need: • Registration with AHPRA • Ability to work autonomously • Excellent time management skills • Current CPR Certificate • National Police Clearance Certificate Desirable Criteria: • Current Vaccination Certificate • Experience with Best Practice • Ability to work autonomously using one’s own initiative as well within in a team environment • Ability to use e-mail, word processing and database applications • COVID – 19 Vaccination Training How this role can benefit you • Opportunities for future career progression and development • On the job training and support from your manager and wider team Training will be provided for the right candidate.
