With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The business is known for delivering fast-track projects with a practical and collaborative approach, maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Estimator with strong partitions and commercial fit-out experience to join a well-established contractor based in the Sutherland Shire. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate take-offs, pricing submissions and tender estimates across a range of commercial construction and fit-out projects. This role is suited to someone who understands fast-track construction environments and can confidently interpret architectural and construction drawings while working closely with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and construction drawings Accurately estimate partitions, plasterboard and associated fit-out scopes Review tender documentation, specifications and project requirements Source and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare BOQs, cost plans and tender submissions Identify project risks, variations and value engineering opportunities Liaise with project managers, clients and consultants during tender stages Maintain estimating databases, supplier pricing and cost benchmarks Assist with procurement and project handover to delivery teams Ensure all estimates are completed within required deadlines Skills & Experience Previous experience as an Estimator within commercial fit-out or partitions Strong understanding of drywall systems, partitions and finishing trades Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings Experience completing detailed take-offs for commercial projects Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, CostX, Cubit or similar Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously Construction-related qualification highly regarded Experience within hospitality, retail and fast-track fit-out projects Knowledge of Australian building standards and commercial construction methods What’s on Offer $90K – $130K Super (Depending on Experience) Opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Career progression opportunities within a growing business Long-term stable position with ongoing pipeline of work How to Apply: Click APPLY NOW and submit your updated resume.
