Position: Flight Attendant Location: 8 Palm Valley Way, Whitsunday, QLD, 4803, Australia Employment Type: Full-Time 38 Hours per week Salary: $77,000 plus superannuation Hamilton Island has offered aviation touring as an activity for its guests for more than 20 years. Our aircraft fleet size and diversity allow services to be offered to all group sizes, from the single corporate traveller requiring an airport or hotel transfer to a large group wishing to visit Whitehaven Beach and Whitsunday Air Services operates in the general aviation industry and provides scenic tours and transfers to customers around the Whitsunday Region. Responsibilities include: Greet and check in guests, ensuring all booking and ticket information is correct. Conduct pre-flight cabin checks to ensure the aircraft is clean, tidy and ready for passengers. Deliver safety briefings to guests and provide demonstrations on safety equipment and emergency evacuation procedures. Safely assist passengers in and out of the aircraft and help them locate their allocated seats. Assist passengers with special needs, including elderly passengers, passengers with mobility needs or guests requiring additional support. Ensure all catering, equipment and baggage are safely stowed before and during the flight. Serve and assist passengers with light catering where required. Provide a high level of customer service throughout the flight and promptly answer questions or provide information to guests upon request. Ensure passenger comfort and safety at all times. Comply with CASA aviation rules and regulations, company operations manuals and relevant safety procedures at all times. Check that safety equipment is maintained, in working order and current, and report or arrange replacement where required. Work cooperatively with pilots, ground staff and operations staff to ensure safe, professional and efficient flight operations. Work Experience : Preferably 3 years of experience in aviation customer service; minimum 12 months of experience is required.
