This is a Solutions Architect role with eHealth Queensland based in Brisbane, QLD, AU eHealth Queensland Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Solutions Architect role at eHealth Queensland An exciting opportunity is available within the Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland for a Solutions Architect (Specialist) to provide expertise and undertake specialised program/project activities to enable the successful delivery of the Microsoft 365 Domain Privacy and Data Uplift Project, a critical component of Queensland Health’s Microsoft CoPilot implementation plan. The role: Reporting to the Microsoft 365 Domain Privacy and Data Uplift Project Manager, the Solution Architect provides end-to-end architectural leadership for the Microsoft Domain Privacy and Data Uplift Project. This role ensures all technical, security, governance, and user-facing components form a coherent, supportable, and scalable solution, aligned to Queensland Health enterprise architecture principles and long-term digital strategy. To achieve this, you will: Develop and maintain the overall solution architecture covering Copilot deployment, Microsoft 365 configuration, Purview, security controls, and governance processes. Ensure alignment between backend platform changes, front-end user experience, and cyber security controls. Guide architectural decision-making, trade-offs, and sequencing to support Phase 2 deployment within agreed timeframes. Provide architecture advice to governance bodies, including Design Authority and Central Data Governance Steering Committee, supported by clear rationale and risk analysis. Ensure the solution supports future scaling of Copilot and other Generative AI tools across QH. Is this opportunity for you? To be successful in this role you will need a high level of understanding in Enterprise Solutions Domains as well as a demonstrated ability in designing, configuring and documenting enterprise systems within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect in large, complex ICT environments. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, Copilot, Microsoft Graph, and Purview. Experience designing solutions in federated organisations with varied digital maturity. Ability to integrate technology, governance, security, and change considerations into a single architectural view. Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to brief senior executives and assurance bodies. Experience aligning solutions to enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and governance processes. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with business users, trainers, and clinical/corporate support teams. Ability to translate technical risk into clear advice for senior governance and assurance bodies. Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members. Have effective consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate, at business and technical levels, complex architectural concepts, drivers and issues, in both written and verbal formats.
