The Role We are searching for a highly skilled, confident, and commercially minded Sales Development Representative based in South Africa to join remotely. This is a proactive outbound sales development role reporting directly to the Head of Sales. You will research and identify target clients, engage Australian business owners, managers and decision-makers, and nurture leads through both a short sales cycle and a longer sales cycle, depending on the division. The role is not simply “dial and book.” You will be responsible for building meaningful prospect relationships, understanding customer needs, qualifying opportunities, setting appointments, managing follow-ups, and keeping accurate records of all activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is outgoing and friendly, yet disciplined, organised and persistent, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, set reminders, follow up consistently, and move potential customers through the pipeline over time. It is a numbers game though, more dials and activity, means more sales. Duties & Responsibilities Research target markets, industries, and potential customers to identify strong-fit prospects. Build and manage prospect lists using CRM data, LinkedIn, company websites, and other sources. Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage Australian decision-makers. Confidently make up to 150 calls per day, if required. Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, timing, decision process, and fit. Manage sales cycles by setting reminders, scheduling follow-ups, and nurturing prospects over time. Book qualified discovery meetings for the Australian sales team when prospects are ready to progress. Maintain clean CRM records, including notes, lead status, follow-up dates, outcomes, and next steps. Help implement and improve outreach systems, messaging, scripts, objection handling, lead tagging, and KPI reporting. Instrumental in building repeatable revenue engines. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (required). Ability to work from home with a reliable workstation setup: quiet environment, stable internet. Available to work on Australian time zone (AEDT 9am to 5pm). Minimum 3 years’ proven Sales Development experience. Fluent English with a clear, friendly yet neutral / international accent that is easily understood by Australian decision-makers. Comfortable with rejection, confident handling objections, and consistent under pressure. CRM / dialer comfort. A measurable track record in sales. Benefits Base commission upside for performance. For the accounting division (medium sales cycle), we will train you on SMSF administration and the accouting proccesses required to close accountants and accounting firms.
