Join WeSupportU as a Disability Support Worker / Peer Mentor and play a meaningful role supporting children and young adults with disabilities to achieve their NDIS goals. As a Disability Support Worker/Peer Mentor, you’ll act as a positive role model, encouraging participants to build confidence, independence, and life skills. Whether it’s supporting someone to attend an appointment, participate in a community activity, or grow their independence at home, your support will truly matter. What You’ll Do: Support participants in their homes and communities to achieve their NDIS goals Encourage independence and community engagement Drive or accompany participants to appointments and social activities Be a trusted support, responding to needs, incidents, or wellbeing concerns Communicate effectively with our team and attend Peer Mentor meetings Collaborate with a dedicated, values-driven team What We’re Looking For: Essential: Your own car, mobile phone, and a full Victorian driver’s licence Full comprehensive car insurance A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one Nice to have: Experience or understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder Great communication and interpersonal skills Availability for 10–20 hours per week Why Join WuSupportU?
