About the role: Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will: Utilise your skills to assist in breakdowns, planned maintenance and servicing of the fleet. Undertake repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and / or EPSA requirements. Work effectively with the workshop maintenance crews to achieve the maintenance plan. Work to priorities as advised by Maintenance Supervisors. Ensure all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets. To be successful you will have: Current Standard 11. Current QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment, or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical. Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory). Local accommodation as we do not offer camp or accommodation options. Current Working at Heights certification. Current Working in Confined Space certification. Trade qualifications with extensive experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment. Experience in heavy earthmoving maintenance including large excavators, off highway trucks, production loaders and dozers, blast hole drill rigs and mining ancillary equipment. Experience in welding, fault finding and field fitting and a working understanding of low voltage electrical systems (24Volt automotive). Sound mechanical aptitude and reasoning.
