Enrolled Nurse $61,532 per year About the role An exciting opportunity exists for a Full -time Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) to support the delivery of safe, evidenceâbased reproductive and sexual health nursing care. Working under the direct and indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Enrolled Nurse will provide personâcentred care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice and Sexual Health Victoria (SHV) policies and procedures. Benefits of working at SHV Competitive salary under the relevant Enterprise Agreement, including notâforâprofit salary packaging benefits Friendly, passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team Permanent Fullâtime role Secure undercover parking at the Box Hill site and close proximity to public transport Paid continuing professional development Supportive and positive working environment Be part of a dynamic clinical service committed to excellence in reproductive and sexual health care Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): Delivery of delegated nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse Assisting with clinical procedures, including IUD and Implanon insertions and removals Pathology collection, including venepuncture (or willingness to work towards competency) Medication administration, including vaccinations, intramuscular injections and oral medications Participation in recall, reminder and results followâup processes Maintenance of accurate and timely clinical documentation Supporting cold chain management and infection control practices Restocking of clinic rooms and stock management Participation in clinic accreditation and quality improvement activities The role includes the handling and administration of Penthrox (green whistle) during IUD insertion procedures. Due to medication safety requirements, employees who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot handle Penthrox. As this is an inherent requirement of the position, applicants should be aware of this when considering their suitability for the role.
