REGISTERED NURSE(DIVISION 1) – LEVEL 3 Canterbury Medical Clinic ABN: 215 Canterbury Road, Canterbury VIC 3126 Canterbury Medical Clinic is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our busy and professional medical practice on a full-time basis. Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000 plus superannuation About the Role:The successful applicant will provide comprehensive nursing care and support within a general practice environment while working collaboratively with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: ·Conduct patient health assessments, screenings and risk assessments ·Perform diagnostic procedures including venepuncture, pathology collection, ECG, spirometry, urinalysis, blood glucose monitoring and vital sign observations ·Administer immunisations and manage vaccination programs ·Assist with Triage, Chronic Disease Management, Asthma, HbA1c Management and patientcare planning ·Coordinate GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements and EPC referral ·Provide wound management and dressing procedures ·Maintain patient recalls, follow-up systems and accurate clinical documentation ·Assist doctors with clinical procedures and patient education ·Maintain clinical stock supplies, vaccination management, refrigeration and cold chain management ·Ensure compliance with infection control, workplace health and safety, and clinical protocols Essential Requirements: •Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) •Australian Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification •Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a General Practice is preferable •Competence in the use of “Best Practice” Medical Software •Excellent communication skill, ability to work independently • Experience in preparing Patients Care Plan C Health Assessment are mandatory •Knowledge of chronic disease management and general practice nursing procedures This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established medical clinic offering ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities.
