Waterlogic is an innovative company working in all areas of Geomembrane supply and installation, specialising in Bio-Gas covers. Our projects are located across Australia with exciting opportunities for rural travel. Due to consistent growth across our business, we are currently seeking a Pressure Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will need to work in a team situation carrying out all aspects of liner and pipe installation works. For the right candidate there may be opportunities for future advancement within the company. Applicants will be required to pass fit for work screening. A driver’s license and reliable transport is essential. Waterlogic is based at Oakville NSW while completing works extensively throughout NSW and interstate Australia. The Applicant will be required to frequently work away from home for extended periods of time, with food and accommodation expenses and travel covered whilst away on site. The successful applicant would have: • Minimum 3 years previous fabrication experience and competency completing hot wedge welding, hot air welding, extrusion welding and hard face welding utilising HDPE, PPE, geomembrane textiles, steel and other metal stock. • Perform high-quality welding and fusion joining on HDPE pressure pipes and fittings • Carry out Butt Fusion, Electrofusion, and Extrusion welding on HDPE systems • Conduct pipe preparations, fit-ups, and joint inspections • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabricate according to specifications. • Proven experience in joining metal and plastic materials to high quality, assessing welds for precision, width of bead, penetration and specified tolerances for TIG. • Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously unsupervised when required. • Meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop. • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems. • Proven ability to adhere to safe work practices and promote a safe working environment. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills • Non-essential but would be highly regarded working at heights, confined space and forklift tickets.
