We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Qualifications & Experience Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1 year of proven experience working as a Chef. Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. In-depth knowledge of food preparation, produce handling, and quality standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner to maintain freshness and customer satisfaction. Maintain high standards of flavour, texture, and visual presentation across all menu items. Assist with menu planning and development, including seasonal specials and new menu offerings. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace health and safety requirements. Monitor stock levels and manage kitchen inventory to minimise wastage and maintain operational efficiency. Supervise, train and support junior kitchen staff where required. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment at all times. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
