Location: Pakenham VIC Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 Superannuation Key Responsibilities Cook menu items in line with established recipes and presentation standards Monitor cooking processes to maintain food quality, consistency, and timely service Examine food ingredients and foodstuffs to ensure quality and freshness Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment during service Season food during cooking to maintain consistency and taste standards Portion food, plate dishes, and add sauces, gravies, and garnishes before service Store food and ingredients appropriately in temperature-controlled storage areas Assist with monitoring stock levels and food usage within the kitchen Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operations Skills & Experience Relevant qualification such as Certificate IV, Diploma in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent Minimum 3 years or more of full-time relevant work experience in a Indian recipes Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations and cooking techniques Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
