Job description: Field Maintenance Supervisor | Hydraulics | Blackwater Mine Whitehaven Coal is seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance operations at our Blackwater Mine, one of Queensland’s premier coal mining sites. About the Role: As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our mining equipment and infrastructure. You will lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians, coordinate maintenance schedules, and collaborate with operations to optimise performance. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the Blackwater Mine site Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance team members Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations Plan and prioritise maintenance work to minimise downtime Collaborate with operational teams to optimise equipment performance Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in maintenance supervision within the mining or heavy industry sector Strong leadership and team management skills Sound knowledge and maintenance practices of CAT, Liebherr and Komatsu Excavators Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience Why Whitehaven Coal?
