Looking for a Transport Coordinator to manage transport bookings and movements in a busy FMCG operation The Company Our client is a leading FMCG business with a strong presence in the industry operating nationally across Australia. They are seeking a Transport Coordinator, to work with the wider logistics team to coordinate transport and bookings across their road transport operation nationally. The Role Reporting to the leader of the logistics team, and working closely with the wider internal stakeholders on a national level, the role will be based in Western Sydney. Key responsibilities include: Manage scheduling arrangements for inbound and outbound freight across several operational locations Resolve transport issues, rejected deliveries, and shipment variances in a timely manner Enter and maintain shipment and inventory information accurately within ERP systems and reporting tools Liaise regularly with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations Review transport charges against submitted invoices and raise any inconsistencies for follow-up Organise freight movements between distribution centres, third-party storage providers, and transport companies Support coordination between warehouse, inventory, and logistics functions to maintain workflow efficiency Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate shipment updates and service-focused outcomes Arrange delivery windows and loading schedules with warehouses, logistics providers, and freight partners Handle shipment-related queries promptly, escalating complex matters where necessary Assist with a variety of operational administration tasks relating to transport, procurement, warehousing, and supply chain activities Your Background To be successful in this role, you will bring: Solid experience of managing Transport activities within an FMCG or 3PL environment. Proven ability of working at pace and taking autonomy for decisions. Knowledge of ERP and strong Excel skills. Working knowledge of CoR and OH&S.
