Job Opportunity: Retail Fast-Food Store Manager (Full-Time) – Soul Origin Karrinyup Café Terrace AVIJOH PTY LTD T/A Soul Origin Karrinyup Café Terrace is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Fast-Food Store Manager to join our dynamic team located at Soul Origin Karrinyup Café Terrace FC1219, 200 Karrinyup Road, Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Karrinyup WA 6018. Soul Origin is one of Australia’s leading fresh food and coffee brands, recognised for delivering high-quality barista-made coffee, fresh salads, sandwiches, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. We are looking for a passionate leader who can drive operational excellence, manage staff effectively, and deliver an outstanding customer experience while maintaining Soul Origin’s high brand standards. This role requires an energetic and focused professional with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy café retail environment efficiently. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Soul Origin café, ensuring smooth service and operational efficiency. Supervise front-of-house operations, customer service standards, food presentation, and café cleanliness to maintain a positive dining experience. Lead, motivate, and manage café staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, and performance management. Create a safe and productive workplace environment for staff and customers while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock takes, coordinate deliveries, and ensure effective stock rotation to maintain product freshness and minimise wastage. Manage ordering of food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and café supplies in line with business requirements and budget targets. Develop and implement pricing strategies for daily specials and merchandising displays to maximise sales and profitability. Analyse sales performance, financial reports, and operational data including budgeting and cost control activities to identify business improvement opportunities and achieve store KPIs. Ensure accurate cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, banking, daily reconciliation, and administrative reporting procedures. Maintain Soul Origin’s retail and visual merchandising standards, ensuring attractive product displays and promotional presentation. Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally handling customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints. Sell goods and services to customers and provide recommendations regarding menu items and café products. Coordinate with suppliers and management to ensure operational consistency and uninterrupted business operations. Control operational costs while maintaining food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with Australian regulations and Soul Origin operational requirements. Monitor café performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency, customer retention, and repeat business opportunities. Skills and Experience Minimum Diploma qualification in Business, Hospitality or related field. At least one years of experience in retail, café, hospitality, or food service management. Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment. Proven ability to achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and control stock effectively. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of customer service principles and café operations. Salary $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
