We are seeking a passionate Secondary Physical Education Teacher to join our collaborative team in a 0.36 FTE fixed-term role (1 year contract), commencing July 2026. Located close to Perth and operating on a northern hemisphere calendar, ISWA is a non-denominational, independent school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. About the role As a Secondary Physical Education Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate PE lessons to secondary students • Promote lifelong physical activity, teamwork, and wellbeing • Plan and implement high-quality learning experiences aligned with the curriculum • Assess and monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback • Contribute to the co-curricular and sporting life of the school • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment About you We are looking for someone who: • Has experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting • Is passionate about student wellbeing, sport, and physical activity • Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues • Works effectively as part of a collaborative team • Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning • Supports the values of international-mindedness and inclusive education To apply Applicants must have a WWC Certificate or be able to apply for one.
