Accountant Employer: TASC Consulting Pty Ltd Location: Dandenong, VIC Full Time Salary: $79,500 plus Superannuation TASC Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a broad range of taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting duties while supporting clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities ·Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis ·Preparation of individual, company, trust, and partnership tax return ·Preparation of financial statements, finance schedules, and depreciation schedules in accordance with accounting standards ·Processing and lodgement of Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting to the ATO ·Preparation and processing of employee superannuation contributions through Super Stream ·Processing bank feeds and coding transactions to ensure GST and accounting compliance ·Preparation of rental schedules and reconciliations ·Assisting clients with taxation queries, ATO correspondence, and payment plans ·Managing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and general accounting duties ·Preparation of SMSF bookkeeping and BAS using BGL software ·Liaising with clients, suppliers, and the Australian Taxation Office ·Skills and Experience Required ·Australian Bachelor qualification in accounting or related field ·Minimum 3 years of relevant Australian accounting experience in a public practice accounting environment ·Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting practices ·Experience using Xero, MYOB AO, MYOB AccountRight, and BGL software ·Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills ·Excellent communication and client service abilities ·High attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines Desirable • CPA studies commenced or willingness to undertake CPA qualification • Xero Advisor and Payroll certifications highly regarded What We Offer • Supportive and professional team environment • Ongoing career development and training opportunities • Exposure to a broad range of taxation and accounting matters • Opportunity to work with a diverse client base If you believe you have the skills and experience for this role, please submit your resume and cover letter.
