We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Public Sector. This role involves managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accuracy in financial records within the Accounting & Finance department. Client Details This opportunity is with a well-established organisation in the Public Sector. Description Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintain customer payment records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accounts receivable balances. Prepare and distribute financial reports as required by the Accounting & Finance team. Support month-end closing activities by providing relevant data and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer billing inquiries and concerns. Maintain compliance with organisational policies and financial regulations. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Profile A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have: Experience in accounts receivable or a related role within the Accounting & Finance field. A strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
