SMS labour , under SMS Mining Services , they provide qualitymining equipment that ensures peak performance, backed byreliable maintenance for uninterrupted mining operations. Tasks & Duties: ? Carry out scheduled and unscheduled electrical repairs and maintenance ? Maintenance, repairs and installation of air conditioning ? Service, diagnose and repair faults on vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection, ignition, automatic transmission and air bags ? Install and maintain electrical equipment such as lighting, alternators, starter motors and gauges ? Install and maintain electrical accessories such as radios, heating and demisting equipment ? test, recondition and replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors and related items ? repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps and switches ? Identify and repair for reuse any parts and accessories ? Perform servicing in regards to service sheets ? Provide tooling adequate for the task. ? Keeping workplace tidy ? Any parts required are ordered immediately to ensure defect can be fixed Skills and experience ? 3 years’ experience with heavy earthmoving machinery ? Ability to be able to comply with safety requirements of SMS Innovative Mining and the Client to all levels. ? To be able to work autonomously and in a team environment within your own crew and with cross over crews. Location of work : Across various locations in WA , Fifo Work may be required.
