Restaurant Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Organising and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and high- quality dining and catering services in accordance with business objectives. Planning and developing menus in consultation with kitchen staff, ensuring dishes reflect the restaurant's Turkish Halal cuisine and pizzeria offerings while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. Managing and controlling food and beverage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all ingredients meet Halal certification standards. Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff, including performance management and ongoing development. Monitoring and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements under ACT legislation. Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Managing financial operations including cash handling, POS systems, daily reconciliation, budgeting, and preparation of financial reports for the business owner. Planning and organising special functions, catering events, and promotional activities to grow the restaurant's customer base. Liaising with suppliers, delivery providers, and external contractors to ensure consistent supply chain management. Ensuring the restaurant environment is clean, well-maintained, and of suitable appearance at all times.
