As part of the Central Hume Graduate Nurse Program, Mansfield District Hospital offers some unique experiences: 3 General Stream Graduate positions 0.8 EFT (4 days a week). Rotations in Acute (8 months) and Aged Care (4 months). Exposure days in Urgent Care and Theatre. 1-week Clinical experience at Mt Buller Medical Centre (subject to arrangement) 1 Aged Care Stream Graduate position 0.8 EFT (4 days a week). Exposure days in Visiting Nursing Service (VNS – community nursing), Palliative Care (subject to arrangement) Individualised support and professional development, regular graduate debrief and skills sessions 5 Days a Week Clinical Nurse Support; 4 Days a week Clinical Educator availability Participation in Graduate Nurse specific study days with Graduates from other Regional Hospitals Opportunity to develop Leadership skills within a supportive environment Develop an understanding and appreciation for the rewards and challenges of working in a Rural Health Service.
