Benefits Above award pay Permanent part-time role with stable hours Work in a modern, newly established Centre with a fully equipped kitchen Friendly and supportive team environment Childcare discount (Inspira Kids encourages their employees to bring their children to the Centre) Opportunities for career growth and professional development within a growing organisation In this role, you will be responsible for Preparing healthy, nutritious and age-appropriate meals and snacks for children Preparing meals in accordance with Food Safety and Nutrition Guidelines Maintaining safe and hygienic food preparation, storage and kitchen practices Ensuring all allergy and dietary requirements are strictly adhered to Ordering and managing food supplies in collaboration with Centre Management Monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage Adhering to and maintaining kitchen standards that meet the requirements set forth by the Department of Health and all other relevant regulatory requirements Completing kitchen records, temperature checks and cleaning schedules Assisting in creating positive mealtime experiences for children Building positive relationships with children, families and team members About You The successful applicant will ideally possess: Previous experience as a Cook and/or a relevant qualification (e.g. cookery, food preparation, catering) Current Food Handlers Certificate Current Working with Children's Check Experience working in an Early Childcare Setting (highly regarded) Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you.
