Fire Sprinkler Designer – Revit / BIM (Perth WA) Safetytech Fire Services is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team in Perth. This role is suited to somebody with real Australian fire sprinkler design experience who understands local standards, coordination requirements and construction delivery. This is not a general drafting role. You must have proven experience designing sprinkler systems in Australia and strong working knowledge of AS2118.1. About the role You will be involved in the design and coordination of commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems across a range of projects throughout Western Australia. The role is office-based in Perth with flexibility to work from home when suitable. Your responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems in Revit 3D Produce coordinated installation drawings Prepare fabrication drawings and material take-offs Produce IFA, IFC and as-built documentation Coordinate with builders, consultants and project managers Review hydraulic calculations and system layouts Assist with project delivery from design through to completion What you must have Proven Australian fire sprinkler design experience Strong understanding of AS2118.1 High-level Revit capability AutoCAD experience Experience producing: Installation drawings Fabrication drawings Coordination drawings Material take-offs As-built drawings Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong communication skills Highly regarded Experience with hydrant and hose reel systems Experience with tanks and pump systems BIM coordination experience Experience working for a fire protection contractor Important Applicants without proven Australian market sprinkler design experience will not be considered. NFPA-only experience is not suitable for this role.
