Your new role Content development: Create engaging written and visual content for newsletters, social media, website updates, media releases and community publications. Digital communications: Manage online platforms, monitor engagement and contribute to digital campaigns that enhance community reach. Brand management: Ensure consistent application of branding across all communication materials. Stakeholder engagement: Support internal teams with communication advice and assist in promoting key projects, initiatives and events. Media liaison: Prepare media materials and coordinate responses where required. Community engagement: Contribute to initiatives that strengthen relationships with residents, businesses and community groups. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications or public relations, within government or a community‑focused environment. Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences. Confidence using digital platforms, social media tools and content management systems. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for the community.
