Working across Joondalup’s busy Private Surgical ward , you will work with an experienced multidisciplinary team composed of doctors, nurses, and allied health staff. Our high turnover 30-bed acute ward provides high-quality patient care to a range of acute surgical patients including in the areas of urology, colorectal, abdominal surgery, ENT, vascular, plastics and some medical patients. As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients. In this Role: You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate: Maintaining and improving the standard of nursing care, providing clinical expertise and local leadership. Maintain positive relationships and strong communication networks with doctors, patients and other stakeholders so that quality clinical outcomes are achieved Managing rapidly changing situations that affect patient care and workload Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Joondalup Health Campus. What you’ll bring: To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience working in an acute surgical setting. Your essential skills and experience: Registered with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an acute surgical department Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to communicate effectively Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values Effective organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Passion for providing quality client-first care Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, which will include day and night shifts, weekends and public holidays, is critical for this role.
