What you will be required to do: Join a fast-paced recycling and waste management facility in a hands-on leadership role, supporting daily plant operations and coordinating shift activities. Coordinate and oversee daily shift tasks to ensure smooth operations Act as the key point of contact between shift employees and the Shift Supervisor Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support Assist with the efficient running of plant operations and step in during Supervisor absences Report plant issues, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements Troubleshoot and resolve operational or equipment issues where possible Ensure all employees follow site safety procedures and OHS&E guidelines Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to team members Allocate daily duties based on roster and operational needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment To be successful in the role you will: Have previous experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role (preferred) Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills Have a solid understanding of workplace safety and compliance procedures Be hands-on with a proactive approach to problem-solving Show a high level of reliability, motivation, and work ethic Be physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment Be able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative Have full working rights in Australia (At Least a permanent resident or citizen for this role) Have reliable transport to and from site What’s on offer for you: Competitive pay with overtime opportunities Ongoing full-time casual role with long-term potential Opportunity to step into a leadership role within a growing operation Supportive team environment with opportunities for training and development Synergie Australia delivers a full 360º recruitment solution, consisting of temporary and permanent recruitment services, and more.
