Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. This role involves the manufacture, assembly, and installation of high-quality cabinetry and custom joinery for residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project documentation. Manufacture, assemble, and install cabinetry and joinery to a high standard. Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and static machinery safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, shape, and fit joinery components and hardware. Liaise with the Production Manager, Site Supervisor, clients, and other trades as required. Supervise and assist in training apprentices and trades assistants. Ensure all work meets quality standards, deadlines, and project specifications. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace. Adhere to all WHS requirements, PPE standards, and company policies. Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years’ industry experience in cabinet making/joinery. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and machinery. Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physically capable of manual labour and on-site installation work. Required Qualifications & Certifications MSF31113 Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. Construction Industry White Card. Asbestos Awareness certification. Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention certification. Current Class C Driver’s Licence (manual preferred). Pre-Start Medical Clearance required. Desirable First Aid Certificate. Additional construction or machinery tickets/licences.
