About the Role We are looking for a store manager to work at our Woodville North Wool Store. This position is ideal for someone wanting to utilise or build their wool experience in a Wool Store environment. The role is full-time Monday to Friday hours between 07:30am – 4:00pm and includes: · Oversee general wool store operations and day-to-day site activities · Manage the accurate receival, testing and dispatch of wool · Coordinate the safe unloading and loading of trucks · Undertake and supervise wool handling activities · Lead, support and coordinate store staff across daily operations · Maintain WHS and HRIS systems, records and site compliance requirements · Ensure company policies, procedures and safe work practices are followed at all times · Regularly liaise with clients, contractors and management to coordinate operations and ensure effective communication · Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities available for the right candidate About You The successful candidate will: · Have a positive, can-do attitude and be a strong team player with leadership capability · Be physically fit, punctual, reliable and safety focused · Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn · Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Have the ability to lead, motivate and support a small team and allocate daily tasks effectively · Be confident working in a warehouse, logistics or wool store environment with strong operational awareness · Be capable of making practical decisions in a fast-paced environment · Enjoy working as part of a small, close-knit team and contributing to shared goals · Hold a current Forklift Licence (or be willing and able to obtain one), with experience preferred · Ideally have wool classing or wool handling experience (highly desirable), or a strong willingness to learn the industry · Have a strong focus on WHS, compliance and safe work practices · Hold full Australian working rights for ongoing employment Perks and Benefits · Opportunity to work in a well-established family-owned national business with strong industry reputation · Hands-on leadership role with genuine autonomy in day-to-day operations · Work within a close-knit, supportive regional team environment · Be part of the growth and establishment of our South Australian operations · Career progression opportunities across multiple sites and states Recruitment agencies need not apply - thank you!
