We're on the hunt for an experienced Welder / Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy City Fleet workshop team, helping keep vehicles, plant and equipment safe, reliable and ready for action. From trucks and trailers to specialised fleet equipment, no two days are the same. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy practical problem solving and know your way around a workshop, keep reading! What you'll be doing: Fabrication, welding and sheet metal repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment Repairing damage, modifying components and improving designs Working on trucks, trailers, plant and specialised equipment Supporting workshop teams to keep assets operational and compliant Following safe work practices and maintaining high workmanship standards What we're looking for: Trade qualified Welder / Sheet Metal Worker (or similar experience) Strong focus on safety, quality and reliability Ability to work well in a fast-paced workshop environment Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic White Construction Card ( Essential) Class C Opens ( truck licences are desired but not essential) Someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in the finished product What's in it for you? $50 per hour super Monday to Friday roster - 6am to 4pm Every second Friday off with a 9-day fortnight (hello long weekends!)
