Position: Truck Driver Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $76,500 to $81,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Mooroopna VIC 3629 Our client is seeking an experienced full-time Truck Driver to join their team of drivers in Mooroopna, Victoria. Tasks required include: ·Drive and operate trucks with safe and efficient driving practices ·Follow instructions; locate and read location, route planning and navigation ·Pre-inspect truck ·Timely delivery management ·Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. ·Cargo handling and transportation load and unload cargo ·Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes always. ·Complete and verify paperwork with accuracy ·Comply with all laws and legislation regarding trucks as well as comply with company Freight policies and procedures ·Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Requirements: ·Certificate II or III in relevant field ·At least one (1) year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed ·At least two (2) years’ relevant experience as a Truck Driver ·Heavy Vehicle Licence ·No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years ·Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge ·Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day ·Clean driving record.
