About the Role We are recruiting Casual Ministerial Drivers in Sydney with professional VIP, Chauffeur or Government Driving experience. This contract provides professional transport and operational support to Ministers, Office Holders and public officials, ensuring safe, timely and discreet point-to-point services. The role also includes a range of non-driving duties that support the daily operations of government offices. Flexibility, professionalism and confidentiality are essential, with work often required outside standard business hours. Please note this is not a general driving position . Location: Sydney CBD, metropolitan and regional NSW Start Date: ASAP End Date: 31 December 2026 with possibility of extension Key Responsibilities Provide safe, reliable and professional transport services for Ministers, Office Holders and authorised public officials Perform non-driving duties including transporting documents and equipment, assisting with travel arrangements and minor office support Operate allocated pool vehicles in accordance with safety, security and operational standards Maintain vehicle cleanliness, presentation and roadworthiness, including routine inspections and reporting maintenance requirements Complete vehicle logbooks, running sheets and other records in line with policies and procedures Build cooperative working relationships with Ministers, Office Holders and their staff to support service delivery Maintain regular communication with transport operations teams regarding assignments and scheduling Provide relief driving and operational support as required across different locations Comply with work health and safety requirements, security procedures and organisational policies Maintain high standards of personal presentation, behaviour and professionalism while on duty Essential Requirements: Demonstrated professional experience providing Government, VIP and/or Chauffeur transport services to Ministers, Office Holders, public officials or other high-profile clients is an essential requirement of this role. Strong knowledge of Sydney road networks and confidence driving throughout regional NSW Ability to pass a National Criminal Record Check with no disclosable court outcomes, due to the high security nature of this position. Full working rights in Australia – Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid long-term working visa (sponsorship unavailable) Proven commitment to driver safety and defensive driving practices High level of discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Flexible availability to work on an ad-hoc basis, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends Ability to attend Sydney CBD locations at short notice Practical knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and daily operational checks About You ComCar Driver, Hire Car, Limo Chauffeur services or Government/Police experience highly regarded.
