Transport Allocator Location: Marulan, NSW About the Company Our client is a well-established, Australian-owned supplier of quarry materials, servicing major infrastructure, construction, and civil projects across NSW. About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Allocator to coordinate daily transport operations for a busy quarry site. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient scheduling and delivery of materials while optimising fleet utilisation and supporting customer requirements. You’ll act as the key link between drivers, the sales team, and quarry operations, keeping everything moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Working Hours Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Saturday: Work from home (approx. 5 hours) planning and allocating for Monday operations Key Responsibilities Schedule and allocate transport resources to meet delivery requirements Coordinate with drivers, customers, and quarry staff to ensure smooth daily operations Monitor and track vehicle and material movements Maintain accurate records of deliveries and transport activities Ensure compliance with NHVR / Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and company policies Troubleshoot and resolve transport issues or delays Provide clear communication and updates to all stakeholders Optimise utilisation of the tipper fleet About You Experience Previous experience in transport, logistics, or fleet allocation (highly regarded) Experience coordinating schedules, deliveries, or driver rosters Exposure to fast-paced operational environments Experience liaising with drivers, subcontractors, or suppliers Skills & Competencies Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Proficiency with transport systems or scheduling software Qualifications Valid driver’s licence Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, etc.) Transport/logistics qualifications (desirable but not essential) Personal Attributes Reliable and punctual Positive, can-do attitude Strong work ethic and team mindset Commitment to safety and compliance Why Join This Opportunity?
