About the Role This is a full-time Chef role with The Royal Thai Hut located in Pacific Pines, Queensland. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Thai cuisine in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking authentic Thai dishes using fresh ingredients Ensuring all meals are presented to a consistently high standard Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Assisting with menu planning and development Monitoring stock levels and kitchen supplies Coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assisting in training and supporting junior kitchen staff Requirements: Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent formal cookery qualification At least 1 year of full-time work experience as a Chef after completion of formal cookery qualifications Proven experience working with Thai cuisine Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and passion for quality food Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
