Energy Training Coordinator Programmed Apprenticeships and Traineeships specialise in the employment of Apprentices and Trainees with our clients and the design and delivery of nationally accredited training. Our Group Training Organisation (GTO) is currently seeking a Training Coordinator in our Gladstone branch specifically working with the Energy Team to manage our apprentice and traineeship programs. The ideal candidate will be available to commence without delay. Based in Gladstone with some travel required, this role will suit an individual who is a well organised people-person, self-starter who is passionate about providing quality training and mentoring of trainees. As a training coordinator, your role will include: Development and maintenance of relationships with key client stakeholders, apprentices and trainees, training providers and TAFE training services. Management of Trainees and Apprentices which includes: Pastoral Care – ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to all apprentices Monitoring Training Progression with both the apprentice/trainee and Training Provider Performance Reviews, Management and Disciplinary Counselling Ongoing Recruitment and Induction of new apprentices and trainees Occupational Health and Safety management of Trainees and Apprentices within the workplace Completion of Workplace Risk Assessments General Administration including reporting, timesheets and data entry Compliance to Client Contractual Requirements and achievement of KPI’s Compliance to the National Group Training Standards State Government Apprentice & Trainee Awards The successful candidate may demonstrate some of the following attributes: Understanding of safety and a commitment to upholding safety standards and compliance Previous experience within the training, education, GTO or HR sectors will be highly regarded Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or other relevant qualifications are desirable Excellent communication skills – oral and written Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, while also operating autonomously when required Ability to build and develop strong relationships with various stakeholders at different levels Genuine passion for supporting and developing individuals to reach their full potential Ability to travel to site on a regular basis (Curtis Island) is a key requirement of the role, along with the flexibility to work varying hours as required.
