About You : Relevant qualifications in sport/recreation, education, youth work, or OSHC are beneficial. Position Summary : As an OSHC Educator you will support of the day-to-day coordination of a small OSHC service, creating a safe, engaging, and compliant environment for children. You will work independently while being supported by a wider, values-driven organisation, balancing autonomy with teamwork. Key Requirements : Completed or currently studying a Diploma (or higher) recognised for OSHC, such as: Diploma of School Age Education & Care Diploma of Community Services Diploma of Youth Work Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care Bachelor of Education, Teaching, or Childhood Education Working With Children Check (Victoria) First Aid, including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Strong organisational and communication skills Knowledge of OSHC regulations and quality frameworks, (or a willingness to learn) A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude Don’t Tick Every Box? Job Responsibility : Lead OSHC sessions in line with National Regulations, National Standards and Skillszone delivery standards. Supervise and coordinate onsite staff as well as children to ensure smooth session flow, appropriate supervision ratios, and consistent program delivery. Liaise with school and OSHC contacts regarding schedules, attendance, student needs, and operational requirements. Ensure safety and child-safe practices are maintained at all times, including active supervision, risk management, and behaviour management. Ensure equipment is set up/packed down correctly and areas are left safe and tidy after sessions. Manage onsite issues proactively (e.g., behaviour incidents, injuries, weather disruptions), escalating to the Director/Administration as required. Ensure incident/accident reporting is completed accurately and within required timeframes. Support onboarding and training of new staff onsite, including program expectations and site-specific processes.
