Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer , which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence . Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security. DPS is seeking to recruit for a Land Integration Framework- Digital SME to contribute and advise Army on their digital network integration in Canberra. What You'll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: Provide written technical advice to Defence representatives regarding digital integration of programs across the Defence Capability Model; Generate detailed technical implementation design and solution documentation for elements, and support workshops to incorporate this work as part of future LCS Design; Develop and present formal technical proposals for Land capability options in support of LNIC integration/technical SME staff; Generate formal LIF-D integration advice to CASG programs / delivery agencies on all areas of the Defence Capability Model post reviews of; pre-Gate 0 documentation, capability definition documentation, capability designs, test & evaluation plans, and sustainment activities; Draft LIF-D Integration Certificates and present details to LNIC Executive for endorsement (where program impact is required to achieve digital integration outcomes) What You'll Bring Demonstrated experience and / or relevant tertiary qualifications Eg: Science, Engineering or IT qualifications. Demonstrable experience in the operations, management, training, analysis, repair, rectification and integration of C4 systems and their sub-systems. Knowledge and understanding of future Land C4 integration and innovation with ADF/OGD/coalition partners (e.g. RAN, RAAF, ABF, AFP, 5EYES). Demonstrated qualifications or specialist experience with one or more of the following skillsets: Networking - Design, Implementation, and assessment of networked systems within either tactical or enterprise environments. C4 Software - Experience with implementation, configuration, assessment, and extensions of military C4 system and software. Tactical Data Links - Detailed knowledge and implementation details of TADL formats and protocols and ability to analyse and assess vendor implementations of these formats. Enterprise Architecture - Design, implementation, and assessment of CIOG accredited systems. Distributed Systems - Experience with distributed system design, implementation, and assessment. Tactical Networking Bearers and Waveforms - Experience with the design, implementation, and analysis of tactical networking bearers, radio RF design, waveform design, and integration Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
