Yarra Valley Gourmet Foods is a food manufacturing company and, for over 20 years, has focused on the development and manufacture of premium condiments. Supplying nationally and overseas, our Yarra Valley Preserves and Mad Dog brands include jams, chutney/relish, mustards, salad dressings, mayonnaise, and sauces. An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and motivated kitchen team member to join our growing food manufacturing business based in Seville in the beautiful Yarra Valley. We are seeking a Product Labeller to coordinate the day-to-day operation of our labelling department within a fast-paced food production environment. This role is ideally suited to someone who is organised, hands-on, detail-oriented and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the labelling department's daily duties in line with the production schedule Operate and monitor automated labelling equipment and ink jet printers to accurately label and date finished products Assemble finished goods cartons to suit production requirements Perform manual handling and some heavy lifting of finished goods around the work site Create and print carton labels using BarTender software Complete documentation in accordance with our HACCP Food Safety Program Maintain a hygienic, clean and organised work environment Skills, Attributes & Experience Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a production environment Strong organisational and time management skills Reliable, punctual and highly detail-focused Clear and effective communication skills Strong computer literacy required Positive attitude with the ability to show initiative and adapt to change Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to support others where required Previous experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing environment is essential Food safety training will be provided as part of this role Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required for this position.
