Position Description: This organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth across North Queensland, and they are seeking a Clinical Allied Health Leader to help guide and strengthen their Cairns Hub. This role is about much more than day-to-day clinical service delivery and is not leadership from behind a desk. As Clinical Allied Health Leader you will: Support and mentor clinicians Lead by example Contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture Work closely with local operational leaders to ensure the hub is functioning effectively and sustainably Play an active role in strengthening their connection with the Cairns community and surrounding region. Collaborate with Clinical Hub Leads in Townsville and Mackay, as well as the organisation Quality of Care Board This role is designed for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who is ready to step into something bigger. You will still maintain a small clinical caseload to stay connected to practice and clients, but your predominant focus will be: Lead and support the Cairns clinical team Build a positive, high-quality team culture Mentor clinicians and develop future leaders Strengthen clinical quality and best-practice service delivery Support the effective day-to-day operation of the hub Grow the organisations' presence and partnerships in the Cairns community Identify opportunities for service growth, collaboration, and community programs Work with other Hub Leads and the Quality-of-Care Board to strengthen the organisation across North Queensland Position Requirements: Qualified as a senior Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with relevant registration Strong business acumen and leadership Positive and authentic in relationships Ability to build strong community relationships and partnerships easily Good time-management skills After Hours Requirements: No About Cairns: Based in Cairns, enjoy an incredible lifestyle surrounded by rainforest, reef, waterfalls and adventure, while building something meaningful professionally.
