We are seeking motivated and reliable Fire Assay Workers to join our laboratory team. Working on a rotating roster , you will play a critical role in delivering accurate mineral analysis services for the mining and resources industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to safety, precision, and teamwork. Hours & Pay Rates - Mandatory 2 week rotating roster of day, night and afternoon shift: Day shift - 7am - 3pm - $32.32 per hr Afternoon shift - 3pm - 11pm - $37.18 per hr Night shift - 11pm - 7am - $38.79 per hr Key Responsibilities: Perform fire assay processes , including fusion, cupellation, and weighing Prepare and process samples in accordance with laboratory procedures Operate equipment such as furnaces, balances, and crushers Maintain accurate records and ensure sample traceability Follow strict quality assurance and safety protocols Support general laboratory operations and housekeeping We’re looking for candidates who are: Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working in a physically demanding, industrial setting Comfortable working in a warm environment (working with furnaces and kilns) Able to work shift work on a rotating roster (non negotiable) Safety-focused with a commitment to following procedures Previous laboratory or fire assay experience is desirable (but not essential) MUST be clean shaven, to be able to wear a respirator properly (non negotiable) As a leading provider of temporary workforce we value all our employees and offer a weekly payrun, a commitment to working with our clients for safe working environments and consultants that care.
