Your role will involve assisting with purchase order management, supplier communication, data analysis, internal cross functional partnerships, and administrative tasks. You will collaborate closely with the Buyer and Senior Buyer as well as other team members across Allocation, Planning, Brand/Product, Retail/e-Comm Ops and the Distribution Centre to ensure the smooth operation of the buying process and contribute to bringing the DTC assortment vision to life, whilst achieving sales and inventory targets. Key responsibilities will include: Style code, UPC and pricing set up. Ensure pricing / invoicing for products purchased and sold are accurately reflected Purchase order entry & maintenance. Ensure purchase order files are accurate and updated in a timely manner Liaise with external suppliers to ensure accurate invoice and purchase order confirmation Ensure all negotiated supplier terms are accurately reflected at invoice and reflected accurately in BSR stock file Complete in store price maintenance in line with Senior Buyer instructions Liaise with the warehouse and brand partners on deliveries, invoice discrepancies, price adjustments and channel supplier/logistic and report issues to the relevant buyers Buy sheet maintenance pre-season and in season adjustments to reflect accurate seasonal buys. Assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels, and minimising overstock or understock situations in conjunction with the Senior Buyer, Buyer, Allocation and Planning functions. Analyse sales data, market trends, and consumer preferences to provide insights that inform buying decisions to pass on to the Buyer and Senior Buyer. Assist the Senior Buyer and Buyer in material level markdown decisions and pricing strategies to maximise profitability while clearing slow-moving inventory. Assist the Senior Buyer and Buyer in material level rotation decisions based on data performance metrics. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? To be successful in this role you’ll need to have previous administrative experience along with great communication skills. You will also have: Preferred demonstrated knowledge and experience in merchandise administration and stock management performance principals.
