About the role Leederville Dental is seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Mount Hawthorn, WA. Flexible hours to suit full-time or part-time employees (Monday to Saturday). As a Dental Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. What you'll be doing Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment Preparing treatment rooms for patients and ensuring a positive patient experience Managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support Communicating effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide instructions for post-treatment care Participating in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies What we're looking for Completed Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture What we offer At Leederville Dental, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
