Steel Fixers – Precast Yard (Cardup) – ASAP Start Location: Cardup (Precast yard – south of Perth) Job Type: Casual / Ongoing project work (scheduled through to June , with potential extensions) Hours: 6:45am prestart , up to 5:00pm (weekday hours available) Saturday: Optional ½ day if required to catch up (preference is weekday overtime where possible) About the role We’re looking for a minimum of 2 experienced steel fixers to join a busy precast yard in Cardup , starting ASAP. This is a long-running project with consistent hours for the right people. You’ll be working in a team environment where quality, safety, and reliability matter. Key duties Reo / rebar fixing and tying in a precast yard environment Reading basic plans / bar schedules where required Ensuring correct spacing, laps, cover, and general quality of fix Working safely around other trades, formwork, and lifting operations Keeping the work area tidy and professional What we’re looking for Proven experience as a steel fixer / reo fixer (precast experience ideal) Reliable work ethic — able to work full days and maintain productivity White Card (essential) Strong safety mindset and ability to follow client/site instructions Own basic hand tools preferred Ability to get to Cardup consistently Induction & PPE Quick on-site induction on Day 1 a couple of short online modules prior Standard PPE: long sleeves/pants, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, etc will be provided.
