Team Global Express is looking for an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Road Express Parcels team at Melbourne Airport. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will be responsible for coordinating drivers, allocating work, and ensuring freight is picked up and delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Shift Time Monday to Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM About the Role You’ll be at the centre of the operation, managing fleet activity in real time and working closely with drivers, customer service, and operations teams to keep things moving. Key Responsibilities Allocate pick-ups and deliveries to drivers in line with operational requirements Monitor fleet activity and respond to issues in real time Maintain clear communication with drivers and internal teams Ensure all jobs are completed safely, on time, and within service expectations Liaise with customers regarding delays or operational changes Manage incidents, breakdowns, and operational disruptions Drive efficiency through effective use of systems and operational resources Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, including DG compliance What You’ll Bring Experience in transport, logistics, or fleet control Strong understanding of PUD operations and driver allocation Knowledge of CoR, fatigue management, and safety compliance Experience using transport systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of local geographic areas Why Join Us Full-time, stable role within a busy operation Monday to Friday roster | 10 AM – 6 PM Work with a supportive and experienced operations team Opportunity to build your career in transport and logistics Be part of a business that values safety, performance, and teamwork If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and keeping operations running smoothly, we’d like to hear from you.
