As Engineering Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the end-to-end engineering of these products, from concept and CAD design through to prototyping, validation, and production readiness. Working closely with manufacturing, product management and supply chain, you will drive design for manufacturability, continuous improvement, and innovation across a portfolio built on cutting, bending, welding and advanced fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities include: Leading a team of highly capable design engineers to create the world’s best fabricated vehicle protection systems Lead the end-to-end engineering lifecycle for ARB’s fabricated product portfolio (concept, design, prototyping, validation, and production release) to deliver high quality products on time Manage resource allocations to achieve product portfolio and business outcomes Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) across cutting, bending, welding, and finishing processes to optimise cost, quality and throughput Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and feedback to enhance product design and engineering efficiency Evaluate and implement new materials, technologies, and fabrication methods to maintain ARB’s market leadership About you: Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer or similar role within fabrication, automotive or industrial manufacturing environments Strong technical expertise in mechanical design and fabrication processes, including sheet metal, welding, CNC and finishing, with proficiency in 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks) Demonstrated experience delivering new products from concept through to production, including prototyping, testing, validation and supplier engagement Hands-on, pragmatic problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to design, fitment and real-world product testing Experience working with suppliers and external manufacturers, with exposure to consumer/retail products; automotive or 4x4 aftermarket experience highly regarded An active interest in 4x4, camping, or off-road adventure highly regarded.
