An exciting opportunity for a newly created HR Team Lead role has emerged within a growing, national organisation supporting a diverse, services-based workforce. Reporting to the Head of HR, this position has been created off the back of significant business growth and will play a key role in building capability, driving projects, and supporting leaders across the business. This is a well-rounded role offering a mix of leadership, advisory, and project-based work, suited to someone who enjoys variety and can operate across both strategy and operational excellence/execution. What You’ll Be Doing Team Leadership & Delivery Lead and support a small HR team, overseeing day-to-day activity, setting priorities, and ensuring consistent delivery across regions Projects & People Initiatives Drive key cyclical and strategic initiatives such as succession planning, performance cycles, WGEA reporting, reward processes, and broader people programs Operational Excellence & Compliance Provide guidance on organisational matters and ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, and internal frameworks Stakeholder Engagement Partner closely with operational leaders across a decentralised workforce, providing practical, commercially focused advice and building strong working relationships Recruitment & Workforce Support Oversee recruitment activity and support workforce planning, ensuring alignment with business needs across multiple sites Process Improvement & Governance Strengthen HR processes, reporting, and governance, with the opportunity to contribute to upcoming HRIS implementation What You’ll Bring Experience in a HR generalist or advisory role, ideally with some exposure to leadership or mentoring Strong capability across HR operations, reporting, and process improvement Sound knowledge of employment legislation with a tertiary qualification in Human Resources Experience working in multi-site or operational environments Ability to balance hands-on delivery with a broader strategic lens Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach What’s on Offer Newly created role with real scope to shape and influence Exposure to a growing, evolving business Hybrid working with on-site parking Supportive, down-to-earth leadership and a trust-based culture To Apply Submit your resume to be considered for this opportunity, or alternatively reach out to mreeves@sharpandcarter.com.au
