About the Role We are seeking a full time Systems Administrator to manage and support Australand Agriculture’s operating systems, databases, and IT infrastructure. Successful candidate will be the sole responsible person for all IT requirements of the business, including related hands on activities. This role will play a key part in ensuring the security, reliability, backup, integrity, and overall performance of the systems that underpin the company’s daily operations across its business and site based activities. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain servers, operating systems, and core IT infrastructure Install, configure, test, and upgrade system software and hardware Monitor system performance, system availability, and security controls Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across business systems Perform system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures Apply system updates, security patches, and preventative maintenance Diagnose and resolve system faults, outages, and performance issues Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures Support enterprise applications, cloud-based services, and internal IT infrastructure Support IT systems used across business operations and locations, including remote or site-based operational requirements where applicable Liaise and negotiate with third party service providers and vendors in relation to IT support, infrastructure, and system performance over the phone, in person, or via email Contribute to workplace health and safety by complying with WHS policies, participating in safety requirements, and supporting a safe work environment in the performance of IT duties Skills, Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field At least 3 years of relevant experience in systems administration Demonstrated experience in administering and supporting server environments, operating systems, and IT infrastructure Strong knowledge of Windows and or Linux server environments Experience with backup systems, disaster recovery processes, user access controls, and system security Experience with cloud platforms, networked systems, and business-critical applications will be highly regarded Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers What we offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Work with a reputable company Training and development programs Opportunities for growth and advancement.
