(Badmanner) Parramatta NSW 2150 $75000 - 85000 per annum (plus Superannuation) About the Role Badmanner is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a chef who is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences. As our Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day kitchen operations—preparing fresh and creative dishes, maintaining high food standards, supporting kitchen staff, and contributing to the energetic atmosphere that Badmanner is known for. Responsibilities 1.Menu Planning & Cost Control: Assisting in developing seasonal menus, monitoring food costs, managing supplier orders, and maintaining efficient stock levels for daily operations. 2.Food Quality & Presentation: Overseeing food preparation and plating to ensure all meals are presented consistently and meet the quality standards. 3.Team Coordination & Service Support: Working closely with front-of-house staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations, timely service, and accurate handling of customer dietary requirements and special requests. 4.Cooking Techniques & Kitchen Guidance: Demonstrating cooking techniques and guiding junior kitchen staff in food preparation, portion control, and presentation standards. 5.Daily Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes including lunch specials during high-volume service periods. 6.Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Maintaining strict food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen hygiene standards in accordance with Australian food handling regulations and workplace procedures. 7.Kitchen Staff Training & Support: Assisting with onboarding, supervising, and training junior kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and consistent food quality across all shifts. 8.Inventory & Waste Management: Monitoring food storage, stock rotation, refrigeration, and ingredient preservation practices to minimise wastage and maintain freshness of produce and kitchen supplies.
