Public policy scholarship at Crawford School is characterized by high quality, policy-relevant research across a range of disciplines. The Development Policy Centre (Devpol) is a research centre within the Crawford School of Public Policy with a focus on Australian aid, the Pacific and PNG, and global development policy. The Position The Research Fellow will engage in research, policy engagement, and public outreach (including blogging) in relation to Australian aid, global development, and Pacific/PNG public policy. The Research Fellow will be expected to work collegially, leading by example to develop and maintain effective, productive and beneficial workplace relationships within the all-academic and professional School and College staff, students and honorary appointees, as well as with industry stakeholders. This position will also have a mentoring role for students and will engage in collegial and productive collaborations with local, national and where possible, international colleagues. Our Ideal Candidate We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise and/or interest in Australian aid, global development, and Pacific/PNG public policy. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in project management and who is keen to work as part of a diverse research team.
