About the Role The Retail Manager position is responsible for managing day-to-day retail operations and supporting the efficient running of the store. The role involves managing stock, service standards, staff supervision, purchasing activities, customer service, and operational records to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively. Location: 1368–1372 Malvern Road, Malvern VIC 3144 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 Superannuation Key Responsibilities Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards across retail operations Formulate and implement purchasing, pricing, and promotional activities within the store Promote and advertise the business’s products and services to support retail operations Sell goods and services to customers and provide product-related assistance where required Maintain records relating to stock levels, sales activities, and financial transactions Assist with budgeting and day-to-day operational cost monitoring for the business Coordinate staff selection, training, rostering, and supervision activities Monitor customer service standards and support smooth day-to-day retail operations Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures across the business Maintain store presentation, operational standards, and stock organisation within the retail environment Skills & Experience Relevant qualification such as an Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Retail Management, Business, or a related field Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role Strong understanding of retail operations, stock control, and customer service practices Good organisational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment Strong problem-solving and staff coordination abilities Ability to manage operational tasks efficiently during busy trading periods How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
